I found this flower in the park near my house.
近くの公園でこの花に出会いました。
Its name is Kan-ayame.
カンアヤメです。
It is Iris unguicularis in English.
This flowers appear in winter and early spring.
カンアヤメは冬から早春にかけて花を咲かせます。
Since there are few kinds of flowers in winter,
冬は花の種類が少ないので
they are precious as tea flowers.
茶花として重宝されます。
Spring has come,
春が訪れましたので
so we have to say good-bye to Kan-ayame.
カンアヤメにさよならを告げなければ。
