There are two kinds of lid rests.
蓋置には2種類あります。
The left one is used from November to April,
左側の蓋置は11月から4月まで使われる一方
while the other is used from May to October.
右側の蓋置は5月から10月までの間使われます。
How different are they?
その違いは？
The diameter of the left one is longer than the right.
左側の蓋置の直径は右側の物よりも長いです。
In addition the left bamboo joint position is lower than the other.
さらに節の位置は左の方が下の方にあります。
Both of them are fading as time passes.
両方とも時がたてば色あせてきます。
We usually use faded ones at tea ceremony lessons.
