柳緑花紅
Yanagiha midori, hanaha kurenai.
柳-yanagi is willow, one of trees.
緑-midori is green.
花-hana is flower.
紅-kureani is usually deep red.
When you enter the tea room,
茶室に入ったとき
you would see the hanging scroll in the alcove at first.
真っ先に床の間の掛け軸をご覧になることでしょう。
柳緑花紅-This calligraphy is written by india ink which is black.
これは黒い墨汁で書かれています。
We could imagine red and green in our mind
by knowing the meaning of this scroll written in ink.
墨で書かれた掛け軸の意味を知ると心のなかに赤と緑が想像できるでしょう。
And suddenly, the inside of the tea room would become colorful.
そして茶室の中がぱっと華やかになるでしょう。
柳緑花紅-This is zen words.
これは禅語です。
It has aonther meaning.
また別の意味があります。
The color of the flower changes naturally.
花の色が自然に変化していきます。
We should do our best in a limited time.
私達は限られた時間の中で精一杯生きなくては、ね。
